this piece having been made to document a 25th anniversary of a gaypartnership, as a blessing to their union. further inspired by thetiming to the consecration of Bishop Gene Robinson at the EpiscopalDiocese of NH as the first openly gay bishop.. the artist was asked toexhibit 10 pieces at the Robert Buckley Gallery in the All Angels Chuchin the Upper West Side of Manhattan at that time as well. however, having unveiled this piece, it was promptly banned along with one other(Threshold, revisited) cancelling just before the opening of the show. Asterisk* Artspace picked up the exhibit where support was outstanding.
